Cumberland(0) at Delsea(5) 

Frank Knapp scored three goals and dish an assist to lead Delsea to a 5-0 victory against Cumberland in Franklin.

Josh Biener added a goal and an assist and Alejandro Mendez chipped in a goal for Delsea. Keeper Branden Langley finished with two saves in the shutout.

With Freeman battling illness, Lindsey takes over as Delsea coach

Longtime Delsea boys soccer coach Tom Freeman has joked the last few years with his assistant, Brian Lindsey, about switching their roles in the program.

When he brought the idea up again this summer, it was no laughing matter.

Freeman, a fixture at Delsea in both boys soccer and boys basketball, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma just a few weeks before the preseason began.
